I was afraid to find out what she thought about my singing. I thought it was a stupid thing to worry about, at first, but I still wanted to know. We had been told to clean the kitchen. One of those rare occasions when I had help with the task, although, I had gotten used to doing it by myself. I had my own system for where things went and my sister didn’t know or use that system. Many people think that when someone dies that it means that they are being punished. That when someone dies it is unjust, especially if that person has done good things in their lives or if that person was very young. It is always saddening when someone we love dies. But it is also a blessing, in a way. Now that they have left Earth, they no longer have to suffer the hardships that we do as human beings. They can rest forever with their Maker, whoever they believe it to be. SORRY TO DISAPPOINT!!!

I regret to say that I will not, in fact, be continuing the piece entitled "The Reluctant Captive 1." It was just something that I was in the mood to read so instead of browsing the site, I wrote it instead. I had no idea how I was going to continue it when I wrote it out and, I'm afraid, I still don't. So, I'm sorry for saying that the piece would be continuted, but it won't. As the title states, "Sorry to disappoint."

I am the resident cynic, grammar freak, book- and movie-lover, anime and cartoon nut, and overall eccentric of my house. I like rainy weather, but mostly I love the cold. If hot weather can be avoided, I will. Some of my favorite movies include: The Fifth Element, Chris Nolan's Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, Strange Days, the Harry Potter films(though some of them could be done better), and Cats, to name a few. My favorite books to read include: Ender's Game, Ender's Shadow, and Shadow of the Hegemon by Orson Scott Card, the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling, the Twilight Saga by Shephenie Meyer, the Artemis Fowl series by Eoin(pronounced Owen) Colfer, the Cirque du Freak series by Darren Shan, the Bloody Jack books by L.A. Meyer, and the Fablehaven series by Brandon Mull. I'm not picky about what I eat, though, sometimes, that can be a little aggravating. Oh, and I am a human being and I live on Planet Earth. Hooray for terrestrials!!! ^_^

You are MOST welcome. :tighthug: I've read some of your writing and the things that gabrielsangel wrote for you. Yaoi is not really my cup of tea, but all of your writing is really well-done. And I like the ideas you come up with for the Van Helsing fics you write. I like the idea of Van Helsing being Dracula's prisoner, just not THAT kind of prisoner. One of the things that gabrielsangel wrote, called "The Order's Fugitive," was AWESOME!!! The whole time I'm reading it, I'm like, "Man, why can't this be happening to ME?!?!?!" No problem. The whole time I was reading "The Order's Fugitive," I was thinking, "God, why can't all of this stuff be happening to ME?" I really liked it. Although, I thought that, at the end, you could have written how Katie goes back to Rome and gets her memory erased. A nice bit for the end would be Van Helsing watching her leave with her family from the shadows and walking away with an affectionate smile on his face. ^__^ Stereotypical it might be, but it's what I would have done. No malign criticism is intended. :hug:

Yaoi is not really my thing, but I do like the idea of Gabriel Van Helsing being held prisoner by Dracula. Just not THAT kind of prisoner. I plan on looking through the rest of your gallery to see if there's anything else I like. And from reading "Prisoner," I have very few doubts that I like. ^__^
